Our beautiful space in St. Johns is right down the street from the historic St

. The studio features a traditional artist open space atmosphere with high ceilings, natural light, color corrected overhead lights, a lunch area, sinks and bathrooms and a convenient cafe/restaurant (the Cathedral Park Kitchen) directly upstairs. http://www.cathedralparkkitchen.com/

Our neighborhood, St. Johns is bordered by the Columbia River to the northeast, the Willamette River to the northwest, the North Portland railroad cut to the southeast, and the Cathedral Park neighborhood to the southwest. Sightings of Bald Eagles are common! At Studio 30 you will be able to work in an environment that is sensitive to the aesthetic eye. It's place to allow yourself to be. About renting the space:

Introductory Rental fee: 130.00 a day (8am-5pm). Deposit required to hold dates. Previous workshop instructors have advised us that our affordable "flat fee" rental fee closely resembles the fee of one workshop participant. Studio 30 and Cathedral Park Place will not provide any insurance for liability or loss during workshops/classes/studio time and a waiver is required. Come Paint on Blue Bee Farm!
The Blueberries are Blue-ious, The Flowers are bursting, The Gardens are Bountiful, The Horses are running, The Chickens are clucking, The Ducks are laying...... and we are picking, fruit, veggies and composition out here at Blue Bee Farms! I have been honored by an invitation to teach a one day painting workshop by the Kagyu Changchub Chuling, Tibetan Buddhist Center to be held at their secluded 'Land of Retreat', a beautiful piece of land near Goldendale, Washington. Friday at Studio 30. April 24th. This all day pose will be inspired by India. Mimi is our model but the pose will be different from the picture. We'll have her sitting with her back to the painters and her head turned to the left. The saris will be draped and part of her back will be bare. It's an elegant pose and more like a figurative study...with colorful saris. Don't miss this one!
