Coats don’t belong in car seats!

Winter Car Seat Safety Reminder! ❄️🚗

Winter is here! While coats keep little ones warm, they are NOT safe to wear in car seats. Bulky coats can create dangerous gaps in the harness, putting your child at risk in a crash.

What to do instead:
• If able, pre-heat your car before heading out (🙏 please do not leave your doors unlocked with keys in the ignition.)
• Remove your child’s coat before buckling them in.
• Use a blanket or put their coat over the harness to keep them warm and safe.

Car seat safety saves lives! Let’s keep our little ones warm and protected this winter.
