🏈 Meet Coach Aidan Wilder! A former standout quarterback at Central Catholic, Aidan went on to play at Portland State, then Linfield University, and wrapped up his playing career as a grad transfer at Bluefield University in Virginia. With experience across multiple levels, Aidan brings a deep understanding of the quarterback position and what it takes to lead an offense.
🧠 Coach Aidan believes success at QB comes down to leadership, football IQ, precise footwork, and clean throwing mechanics—and he’s excited to help the next generation sharpen those tools.
📍 Fun fact: He now lives in the opposite corner of the country—but he’s back in Oregon to give back to the game that gave him so much.

🏈 Meet Coach Carl Sommer! He played at Milwaukie High School for 3 years before finishing his senior season at Wilsonville. He entered that year with 5 full-ride D1 offers (Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Boise State) and was ranked the #48 tight end in the nation. Carl signed early with Oregon State and transitioned to defensive end. After two seasons, he transferred to Portland State, where he played TE, DE, and long snapper—earning All-Big Sky honors at DE in 2010. He medically retired in 2011 after a neck injury that required three surgeries.
📚 At camp, Coach Carl is most excited to coach DE/Edge Rushers, bringing years of experience under elite coaches. Football gave him a lot—and now he’s focused on giving that knowledge back.
⭐ Favorite current player: Max Crosby—high motor, relentless effort.
🥋 Fun fact: Coach Carl is also a professional MMA fighter.
