From 1901 to 1956, in the shadows of Montgomery Park, sat Portland's baseball stadium, Vaughn Street Park! ⚾️ The stadium sat 12,000 people, and was the home of the Portland Beavers. Although there are no longer traces of the stadium other than a plaque, the ballpark's legacy lives on through its sod, which was transplanted at what is now Providence Park! 🧢

In 1944, Ward's (short for Montgomery Ward) was a thriving retail store adding to the lively spirit of the Slabtown NW District in Portland. 🛍 If you were to walk through these doors today, you would enter the socially-distant, yet still thriving south entrance doors of Montgomery Park! 🙌

Life's all about perspective. At Montgomery Park there are over 40,000 windows on our exterior. That's over 40,000 different views to the outside world around us. Make sure you find that window with a view that you enjoy, and if for some reason your window fogs up, know that there are 39,999 other windows! 🏢
