We went on a field trip to the Oregon Zoo last week with some Independent Living Rosebuddies as well as some friends from Madrona Grove. The zoo is a perfect place for some intergenerational learning and fun!!

Welcome to Rosebud Preschool 2.0! 🌹✨

This summer, Rosebud went through a major reset, and we’re so excited to share our new and improved intergenerational program with you.

With the help of dedicated resident volunteers from RoseVilla who share a passion for meaningful early childhood education, the Rosebud team worked together to clarify and foster our shared vision.

Not only did our two classrooms, the Garden Room and the Forest Room, receive a beautiful transformation- we now have a strong foundation of philosophies and policies to continue to grow our intergenerational program upon.

These photos capture just a glimpse of the love and hard work that went into creating environments where children and RoseVilla residents can learn and connect together. We couldn’t be more proud💛

Thank you to Qigong Instructor Nathaniel for stopping by to teach us mindful movement this morning. This was a great way to wake up our minds and bodies while practicing breathing, coordination, and flowing movement with music!

Thank you to all of our students, teachers, families, and friends of Rosebud for joining us at our end of year celebration yesterday! We had a blast singing and dancing along with teacher Brittany and spending time with our community.
