Word for 2021: UNBOTHERED✨

The typical M.O of a people pleaser not standing in her power looks a little something like:
-Compromising her desires for someone else’s satisfaction
-Burning out her precious energy at work to prove herself worthy of little recognition
-Taking it all on, regardless of what little capacity she has so she doesn’t disrupt anyone else
-Always giving and giving, not asking for help when she need it.

aka: my life just a year and a half ago.

My PAIN TO POWER story began when I woke up and became aware of how much control I was allowing others to have over me.

I realized how much I judged me for not meeting their expectations.

Enough was enough.

No more getting lost in the endless loop of feeling inadequate unless someone likes you.

Truth is. People will dislike you for being the best and worst version of you. This is on them.

Your job is to cultivate radical self acceptance and faith in your once in a lifetime badassness.

And then one day it happens....

You wake up and you’re in this place where everything feels right. Your heart is calm. Your soul is lit. Your thoughts are positive. Your vision is clear. You’re at peace with who you are, where you’ve been and where your headed.

Don't compare yourself to others. We are all losing our s**t... some just hide it better 😉

It’s not a problem, it’s completely OK. You can be friendly with this mindset instead of needing to get away from it or banish it. It’s just a part of your human experience, nothing to panic about.

In the middle of this feeling of insecurity, look for one simple step you can take, one resource you have within you to utilize. Let it be enough.
And take one deep breath.
Ready?
Go...

The chaos hasn’t gone away, but neither have you.
You took a step forward. And through this simple practice, you can begin to shift your relationship with the thought of not being enough and make progress towards more fulfillment.

You don't have to have it all to begin.
Starting with what you have is a humbling and beautiful experience.

You are so so so enough. If you didn't already know!

Drumroll please…..Minister Jenna, at your service ✨

I accepted an invitation recently that led me down one of those paths that had me saying 💭 “WHY HAVEN’T I THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE?”
Uhh.., Hello, divine timing. 👋🏻

My life before Human Design, I was an event and wedding planner.

I worked for Private Country Clubs and started an independent business on the side catering private shin-digs to the elite in million dollar mega homes in Scottsdale, Arizona- that business was called Happiness Sate of Mind- sound familiar? It was my creative outlet, I loved it and I was pretty darn good at it 😉

My heart has always been instilled in the love of service. So, coordinating a day that showered humans with love, happiness champagne and abundant dreams of the future - was a no brainer. SIGN. ME. UP!

In my opinion- Love is love. Universal. Ceremonial. Unique. All inclusive. Love. Love and More Love.

And a half a dozen years later …
THIS invitation. Ordained Minister?

My heart poured out of my soul and the creative spark was ignited ⚡️

💞THE ONE THING I HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE IS MY THOUGHTS. Say it again, and again and again.

Whenever you take a look back on a negative experience and relive it as it once was- you truly miss out on a transformative opportunity to alter the state of your life.

I began to strengthen my mindset muscle in the midst of negative thought hell. It sounds impossible- I know. It felt like a fight battling that inner critic. But If I was going to fight, I was going to fight for the sake of becoming stronger for all the times that were to come.

Practicing shifts in mindset when I was at my lowest built stronger calluses.
I told myself things like...
"I lost that relationship so I could see who I was outside of taking care of someone else" I am still a good partner and deserve love.
"I wasn't recognized in that job I tried so hard in because it was clearly pushing me to recognize myself and needed this as a stepping stone to finally do just that" The work I do is still valuable and my experience counts.
"That time I was sick for 2 weeks and nobody checked on me- allowed me to value myself and release expectations" I really can take care of myself
The list goes on...

By looking back on the not-so-good choices and experiences - and standing alongside yourself as your highest self- The one who is here now, who once believed this negative experience would ever end. Hello... It did! You are on the other side. Speak to yourself as such.

What would a coach tell you? What would your closest friends say to you?

To strengthen your mindset muscle you can start by imagining the experience a little different, a little more empowered, with a little more openness to heal.

Loving on you, always! 💖
