Grade 7 recently spent time on the Oregon coast. Here you see them counting, weighing, measuring and sexing crabs for Oregon fisheries data - as well as fort building on the beach!

The third grade class recently spent several days at Leaping Lamb Farm, where they experienced the rhythms of farm life firsthand. From feeding animals and grooming horses to clearing trails and caring for the land, the children joyfully took part in the work of the farm, and especially loved spending time with the baby goats.
In Waldorf education, meaningful work helps children develop confidence, responsibility, and a healthy love of effort. Through real tasks and shared work, children experience themselves as capable and connected contributors to their community. More than one child declared, “Chores are my favorite part of the day.”
