Back from Paradise! 🌴☀️

Just returned from an amazing time in Puerto Vallarta with my husband, and I can’t stop thinking about it! The sun, the ocean, the food… every visit makes it harder to leave. 🌊✨

🏆 Today, I accomplished my first-ever swimming championship! It was a one-hour “virtual” swim challenge, and I covered 3,100 yards in 60 minutes—that’s about 1.76 miles! 🏊‍♂️💪

This milestone means so much because I’ve been training for a little over two years since I decided to pick up swimming as my sport. It’s been a journey of hard work, dedication, and lots of laps, and today, it all came together.

Thank you for bringing a taste of Japan to our kitchen with your incredible ramen! 🍜 Since we got back from Japan, we’ve been on a mission to find the best ramen in Portland, and guess what? We found it right at home! 💕 Every bite was perfect—delicious, comforting, and full of love.

As many of you know, I picked up swimming as a sport about 1.5–2 years ago. Growing up near the water in Mexico, I thought I knew how to swim—only to realize I actually just knew how not to drown (aka floating to stay safe!).

Swimming as a sport has been a completely different journey, and I’m thrilled to share a personal milestone: I’ve officially joined here in Portland and got my first membership with 🏊🏽‍♂️

This is a big accomplishment for me, and I’m excited to keep pushing myself, learning, and growing.
