$2.49 Million charter catamaran capsizes and sinks 140 miles off North Carolina due to failed hatches, both Port & Starboard, in 10 ft. seas and 35 mph winds. In other words, moderate conditions where a few bucks were saved on cheaper hatches. Top shelf electronics, marble on walls and teak decks mean nothing on sunken ships!
