There is something so special about hearing a child pray.

At CKC, we teach our children that prayer isn’t just something rehearsed or memorized, it is a conversation with God. It’s how we talk to Him, share our hearts, and grow in our relationship with Him.

Each week we start out with one of our sweet students leading us in prayer.

At Calvary Kids Care, we KNOW play = learning!

Young children learn best when they have opportunities to move, explore, climb, balance, and challenge their growing bodies. Large-motor activity is an important part of both their development & our daily routine.

We love getting our students outside and encourage outdoor play in all kinds of weather. ☀️ But Florida also gives us plenty of rainy days...and some days when it is simply too hot to safely stay outside for long!

That’s when our indoor playground becomes one of our favorite places to be! Our students can climb, slide, run, explore, and get those little bodies moving while building strength, coordination, confidence, and social skills.

Because sometimes the very best learning looks a whole lot like PLAY! ❤️

Happy Monday! There is something so sweet about starting our week together in Chapel; praying, praising, worshiping, and learning God's Word.

This morning we learned a simple but powerful truth from 1 John 3:1: We are children of God! ❤️

Our prayer is that these little ones grow up knowing just how deeply loved, and treasured they are.

What a beautiful way to start our week! 🙏

Our One-Year-Old Classroom Is More Than Childcare! 💛

At Calvary Kids Care, our one-year-old program is designed to give our littlest learners a strong start while preparing them for a successful transition into our two-year-old program.

Through play, music, movement, language, social interaction, and daily routines, our teachers intentionally work on important early skills like communication, motor development, independence, following directions, and building relationships.

We also partner with parents using Ages & Stages developmental milestones to celebrate growth, recognize skills children are working toward, and support their development together.

They're not simply waiting to turn two—they're learning, growing, and preparing for what's next! 🌱

🌎 Learning About God’s Love Around the World!

Our VPK students are learning about missions and the beautiful truth that Jesus loves everyone—everywhere!

This week, we traveled (from our classroom!) to Guatemala 🇬🇹. And every Thursday, we make our learning a little more hands-on with a special Taste of the Country experience!

This week’s taste test: pico de gallo! 🌮🍅 Some loved it, some weren’t quite sure.

At CKC, we love creating opportunities for our students to learn about God’s BIG world while growing curious, compassionate hearts. 💛

Our two-year-olds are learning with their whole bodies! Climbing, jumping, balancing, running and sliding all help build important gross motor skills like strength, coordination, balance and confidence.

At CKC, we know play is an important part of learning and sometimes the best learning happens when little bodies are on the move!
