Can you recognize any of the book characters represented in these photos?
Look for a chocolate magnate, a king, a caterpillar, a princess and may more. Mrs. Jeffers was on point with her character.
What was your favorite book growing up?

Third through Sixth grades celebrated the students with Character Trait Awards. Classroom teachers make lasting impact on student's lives and often those same students teach the teachers a lesson or two!
Congratulations to all the students moving up to the next grade!

Character is an important moral quality that is taught and highlighted at Covenant Academy.
Students are awarded a specific trait at the end of the year.
This is a very special time where the teacher shares how the student has exemplified the trait throughout the school year.
The MS/HS students were given their awards Monday evening, followed by a reception.

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!
Mrs. Runkle and Mrs. Huber gave the out Character Awards which include traits like: Determination, Kindness, Bright Light, and Peacemaker, after the students performed hand motions and sang a sweet song, "Look How Far We've Come!"

"Look how far we’ve come today
Step by step, we found our way
We learned to read, we learned to write
We shine so big, we shine so bright!

We learned to share and to be kind
To use our voice and speak our mind
We dreamed big dreams and learned to grow
The whole wide world is ours to know!

Yes, I can! Yes, I will!
I’m getting stronger, stronger still
I believe in me, and that’s the key
There’s nothing that I cannot be
Heads up high,
Touch the sky
I am brave, I can fly
Yes, I can! Yes, I will!
I am ready for the next big hill!"

Blessings to these little ones...on to First grade!

Our Kindergarteners made Bible characters come to life! We love how the students transformed a bottle into a character.
Can you recognize anyone?

Administrator of the Day, Miss Mosburg had a very busy and productive day running the school. Working with Dr. Wilson, she did some bookkeeping, gave a tour to a prospective parent, visited classrooms, called an assembly, sent a message to parents, and took a friend to lunch. Great job, Miss Mosburg!

Middle school students will display their handiwork and explain their model of ancient architecture. Trojan horse, hanging gardens, Colosseum, and much more!! Students are excited to share what they have learned.

Meaningful Ministry!
Our annual Building a Legacy Gala was a great success. Guests enjoyed fellowship, food, and entertainment before hearing inspirational messages from three students and a parent, who shared the impact Covenant Academy has had in their lives. Dr. Wilson re-envisioned the mission of Covenant and the important role Christian education plays in our culture and our future.

You can support this ministry and partner with us in Building a Legacy of strong Christian families, students of character, and future leaders, using the link below under the Support tab.
