🌟 Student of the Month Celebration! 🌟

This month, we recognized students who are true Drivers of Their Own Bus as part of our Energy Bus program! These outstanding students have demonstrated independence, made positive choices, and shown kindness and respect to those around them.

What a wonderful day at Nina Harris! 💕 Today, our students and staff honored Dolly Parton by wearing outfits inspired by her iconic style and larger-than-life personality. The excitement, creativity, and smiles throughout the school made this a celebration to remember. We have a feeling Dolly herself would be proud of the joy and spirit we shared today! 🌟

🌟 Islands in the Stream... Nina Harris style! 🌟

Mr. England and Mrs. Meyers brought the Dolly spirit to life during our Lip Sync Battle with a fantastic performance of "Islands in the Stream!" 🎶🤠✨

From the music to the moves, these two had everyone smiling, singing along, and cheering them on. We love seeing our staff step out of their comfort zones to create fun memories for our students and school community!

💙🎉 35 Years of Heart, Dedication, and Nina Harris Pride! 🎉💙

Today, the halls of Nina Harris were filled with cheers, bubbles, smiles, and so much love as we celebrated a truly remarkable member of our family on her very last day at school.

For 35 years, Patricia Black has dedicated her time, talents, and heart to the students, staff, and community of Nina Harris. Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls, touching countless lives and helping make Nina Harris the special place it is today.

Students and staff lined the halls for a joyful parade, bubbles floated through the air, and there wasn't a shortage of happy tears as we honored the incredible legacy Pat leaves behind. Her kindness, commitment, and unwavering support have been gifts to generations of students and coworkers alike.

Patricia, thank you for 35 years of service, friendship, laughter, and love. We are forever grateful for everything you have done for our Nina Harris family. Congratulations on your well-earned retirement. May it be filled with relaxation, adventure, happiness, and all the things you've spent years helping others enjoy.

In honor of the incredible life and legacy of Dolly Parton, we invite all staff and students to wear pink, rainbow colors, glitter, sequins, or anything with a little extra razzle dazzle on Friday, August 28th!!

Dolly was so much more than a music icon. She was a passionate philanthropist who believed every child deserved the opportunity to dream big through reading. Through her Imagination Library, she gifted millions of books to children around the world, helping foster a lifelong love of literacy.

Let's celebrate Dolly's generous spirit, kindness, and commitment to helping others by filling our halls with color, sparkle, and joy, just the way she would have loved!

🎉 Congratulations to Our Nina Harris Volunteers of the Year! 🎉

We are proud to celebrate Chloe, our Youth Volunteer of the Year, and Laura, our Adult Volunteer of the Year!

As Pinellas County Schools area winners, Chloe and Laura will be honored alongside other area winners at a special Volunteer Recognition Breakfast this October. From those recognized, one Senior, one Adult, and one Youth Volunteer of the Year will be selected district-wide.

Chloe is following in her mother's footsteps, demonstrating outstanding dedication and commitment to the students of Nina Harris ESE Center through her volunteer service and caring spirit. Laura has become a familiar face at school events, generously sharing her time and talents, including helping organize auctions and supporting numerous school activities.

We are incredibly grateful for the difference these amazing volunteers make in the lives of our students and staff. Their service, compassion, and dedication embody the spirit of the Nina Harris Family.

Ms. Popke's class spent the morning reading and discussing the book, sharing ideas about dreams, goals, and believing in themselves. We hope every one of our students knows that their dreams matter and that they have the power to achieve amazing things!
