Today is both and , and a reminder that the Constitution is very clear about who is a US citizen: anyone born here, no matter their parents’ immigration status. Upholding birthright citizenship should not have been such a close call for the Supreme Court.

We're still anticipating how tomorrow's changes to Public Charge will affect citizenship applications. For now, we still provide individualized assistance for those who want to apply. Those prepping for their exam & interview can also enroll in our free, virtual Civics classes.

Today marks 25 years since the September 11 terrorist attacks, and the murder of almost 3,000 Americans by religious extremists. A quarter century later, victims’ families are still grieving, and survivors continue to experience trauma and health issues. As a country, we remain embroiled in international conflicts and torn by internal division as a result of that day.

We honor the lives lost and the first responders today and everyday by standing together against extremism and bigotry, and by treating all our neighbors with compassion and respect.
