As AI becomes more and more integrated into the classroom and our lives... remember, "The act of writing itself can be an act of self-preservation, even one of defiance. That spark of rebellion is our greatest strength, and it’s found nowhere else but within us."
Resist allowing a machine to deaden your mind... and own your story.

Dear community,
This is gala season and, so first, I will start with a huge thank you to our Board of Directors for helping us here at Writopia plan and launch an exciting and meaningful upcoming gala, to be held on April 28th.
For many in our community, it has been such an upsetting time in the US and the world, with some political changes and events impacting many of us personally and professionally. For many adults, every act of social engagement these days requires effort.
We are dedicated to keeping our youth spaces places of hope, healing, and inspiration and we are determined to create the same level of respite for the adults in our community as well.
We hope that those who can, will take a moment to buy tickets to our gala, and invite friends who want to support a good cause, feel joy within a diverse, compassionate, creative community, and have a super fun night out in Manhattan.
The sustainability of our programs depends on our philanthropic supporters. We need you and appreciate you.
AND we can't wait to be together with you to celebrate the power and LIGHT of a creative and kind youth community!
