Juan M. Villanueva is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and second-generation florist whose creative journey began in the wildflower pastures of South Texas and later took root in New York City. This duality of landscape and culture continues to shape his work at the intersection of art, commerce, and cultural memory.
As the owner and lead designer of VILLANUEVA DESIGNS ®, founded in 2008, his studio practice extends from intimate floral compositions to ambitious site-specific installations that explore impermanence, scale, and narrative.
