In this Open House + Workshop, you will experience an example lesson from the / course on Teaching . During the sample workshop, you will identify the many strategies a teacher can use to convey the meaning of new vocabulary to her students as well as gain a basic understanding of how to analyze vocabulary from the teacher’s perspective. This will give you a clear idea of the practical and hands-on style of our approach to teacher training. We will then walk you through the TESOL/TEFL course application process (including the requirements to apply) and go over the basics qualifications and requirements needed to apply for an English language teaching job here in the U.S. and abroad.

After decades of a fruitful partnership with Berkeley College, our beloved president and founder, Cesar Rennert decided to pass the baton to an educational organization recognized for its commitment to the highest quality standards in education since 1931, Berkeley Educational Services of New York, Inc (BES). Mr. Rennert will continue to head the organization which will keep operating independently under its current management at its location at 211 East 43rd Street, New York.
