Anthony is the Artistic Director of the Bova Actors Workshop, founded in 1993

Anthony Vincent Bova's methodology is based on the Eric Morris System. Morris is the originator of a particular two-part system of acting that is predicated first on training the actor how to reach a BEING state which is essential to organic life on stage and in front of the camera as well as a systematic craft approach to creating rich and fully dimensional characters that are as alive for the actor as they are for the audience. Anthony is mentioned in Eric Morris’s 6th book, The Diary of a Professional Experiencer, with a foreword by a former student of Mr. While absorbing Eric Morris’ expertise and know-how since the mid-'80s, Anthony mastered the skills to help actors overcome their energetic blocks to help them gain the freedom to discover their individual authenticity leading to greater organic expression. Anthony's influence is international, with workshops in Europe and Asia. One of Anthony's highlights was being granted the rights to direct Clifford Odets’ unpublished work 910 Eden Street at Lincoln Center for a program he produced, From Stanislavsky to Morris. Anthony is frequently requested to assist actors on movie sets or on stage and takes much pride in having a reputation for producing highly skilled actors in a highly competitive business. He is thrilled to launch The Actor's Creative Journey, an international community of actor, aspiring actors and artists, is the continued search to seek a higher level of truth in the actor and their work. Prior to founding the Bova Actors Workshop, Anthony was on staff at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, HB Studios, and the New York Film Academy. Anthony also runs an executive coaching company, EdgeWork Soft Skills System, where he trains business professionals in effective and impactful communications. His focus with his corporate clients is to find that quality about them that's beyond the data that compel their audience to take positive action.
