🍂 Monday Reset: Thanksgiving Week Edition ✨
The holiday rush officially begins… and whether you’re hosting, traveling, or juggling school breaks + work, this week can feel like a lot.
So today, we’re slowing down and tuning in. 💕
Here’s your Thanksgiving Week Reset — for parents who deserve support, space, and a deep breath.
🧡 1. Remember: You don’t have to do it all.
Pinterest-perfect isn’t the goal.
Presence is.
Kids remember laughter, not matching napkin rings.
So if dinner is catered?
If the cousins are in pajamas all day?
If you didn’t bake the pie from scratch?
Still a win.
🌿 2. Build in small breaks — for you.
You’re a better parent when you’re resourced, not running on fumes.
Even 20 minutes can reset the whole day.
📌 Ideas:
• Step outside for a quiet moment
• Take a shower without tiny hands opening the curtain
• Put on a holiday movie and sip something warm
• Let someone else help (yes, including us)
🎉 3. Say yes when support is offered.
Whether it’s a partner, family member, or sitter — let someone share the load.
Asking for help isn’t weakness.
It’s wisdom.
🧸 4. Create space for memories, not perfection.
Kids don’t need every minute planned.
Unstructured play, dancing in the kitchen, baking messy cookies…
Those are the magic moments.
💬 A little reminder before the holiday:
You’re doing an incredible job.
Even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Especially then.
