At yesterday’s Baruch Alumni Changemakers Awards, we were delighted to honor Aissata M.B. Camara (‘11), the deputy commissioner for the NYC mayor’s Office for International Affairs. More than a decade ago, she founded “There Is No Limit,” a foundation that empowers poor and ultra-poor people - primarily in Africa - through entrepreneurship, education, sanitation, and the eradication of gender-based violence. Congratulations to Aissata and all of our awardees from last night!

We’re one week away from our Baruch Alumni Changemakers ceremony, where we’ll be celebrating alumni including Elizabeth Shafiroff (‘13). The organization brings veterinary and pet-care services directly into underserved communities.
