This Saturday, Girl Scouts Troop 03224 competed at an FLL Explore Event in C'E Montessori in Brooklyn! We are incredibly proud of them for their hard work over the course of the season, and congratulate them for taking home the Core Value Teamwork Award. Shoutout to the team for their great performance, and a huge thanks to all the parents and mentors who made this season possible!

Milstein Division Quals at Houston, Texas World Champs

Our first Plusite of the week is Jayden Y., StuyPlus’s Driver! 🎮🥽🤖

StuyPlus made it all the way to the playoffs at both the Gotham and NYC regionals, thanks to his incredible driving. As he juggled between working on the bot and matches, Jayden played a big role in making StuyPlus’s first events so memorable. Although StuyPlus’s official comp season is over, there’ll be more to come, so keep cheering them on!

Week SEVEN of our PULSITE OF THE WEEK Series is a Software Engineering Spotlight on Zixi Q., our Director of Software Newbie Relations and SE for our rookie team, StuyPlus! 🤔💻➕️

Zixi has had a big impact on our SE rookies. In addition to teaching them how to code, Zixi has done a great job introducing our rookies to FRC and imparting valuable team skills. Thanks to his leadership, the rookies on StuyPlus are highly motivated and ready to put their skills to the test. Be on the lookout for them at the Gotham and NYC regionals!

On March 11th to March 14th, StuyPulse competed at the Finger Lake Regional in Rochester and became event finalists! On our way to Rochester, our bus unfortunately broke down and our team was stranded in New Jersey for 7 hours. 🚌📍While we were waiting for another bus, our team utilized the time to test our robot and catch up on any work we had. Fortunately we made it to RIT on time and ranked 9th after qualification matches. We advanced to playoffs in the 2nd alliance— Huge thanks to our alliance captain and alliance partner ❤️ You guys were amazing and we learned so much playing with everyone. We also had the honor of receiving the Engineering Inspiration award, qualifying us for Championships in Houston. Kudos to everyone for working so hard during the past couple months. Next stop: Gotham Regional 🚦

StuyPulse competed at the Hudson Valley Regional this weekend with our newest robot, Aunt Mary 💗 We seeded first in qualifying matches and captained Alliance 1. We swept through the playoffs and were the winners of the Hudson Valley Regional! Special thanks to our alliance partners. You know who it is...RoboTigers () and E-Tech Chargers ()!! 🐯💚⚡️
StuyPulse also received the creativity award for our unique robot design. 🧰
