Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you’ll enjoy the time spent with family and friends. Please be safe and try using Zoom or FaceTime to connect. We would like to see you next year.

It looks like the Ferry is coming to Coney Island. In May ways this is terrific. However depending upon where it is placed it could be a disaster. Speak up and let your voice be heard. Look for the post in this group with the petition requesting this be done the right way.

Hoping to plan a March Party to get together and have some fun. Paid members will have a reduced fee for the party.

Thursday 7/25 a bunch of us from the Sea Gate Garden & Social Club are joining in on, The Coney Island Sea Side Senior Center Trip to Atlantic City. Go to the center at 3700 Surf Ave. and see Maria if you want to go. The cost is $30 includes transportation and they give us $30 back. We will have coffee and donuts for Sea Gate Garden Club Members.

The Daffodil Project was a success. We can't wait to see the Daffodils in Berdy Square next Spring.

Sunday Nov. 4, 2018, members of the Sea Gate Garden Club invite the community to come to Berdy Square, off Surf Ave, Highland Ave and Nautilus Ave, to plant daffodil bulbs. Come out and socialize with other community members. Enjoy coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Hope to see you there.

The Sea Gate Garden Club had collected donations on behalf of George Soden who past on March 8, 2018. He was the husband of another long time resident and Past President of the Sea Gate Garden Club, Joyce Soden. Our club has had a bit of a Hyades since George, my Dad, had been sick for quite a while and the last year of his life was extremely difficult.

We had a lovely Juniper tree planted along with some other plantings. All arranged inside some beautiful landscaping bricks.

So come to Berdy Square, enjoy the park and have a drink, tea, coffee and coco with us.
