We lost a dear friend, a wise mentor, and a brother on the path to creating a more just and enlightened world. Our heart is heavy with loss but also profoundly illumined by his incredible creativity, boundless generosity of spirit, love for humanity, and relentless quest for truth. His David Lynch Foundation is deeply rooted in these beautiful qualities and remains firmly dedicated to realizing our one primary goal: bringing Transcendental Meditation to the world so that everyone everywhere in their travels meets only friends and not enemies—a world of unity. We love you, David. -The David Lynch Foundation Family and Friends

It is with deep regret that we, his family, announce the passing of the man and the artist, David Lynch. We would appreciate some privacy at this time. There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us. But, as he would say, “Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.”

It’s a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way.
