Here’s what a former student said about Girls Who Code at CU: “I really enjoyed being part of this program. I Iearned so much and I am really excited to continue my "journey" in the Computer Science field (in my application I said that I wanted to see whether or not I would be truly interested in Computer Science and thanks to this opportunity I think I want to continue learning and I am really thankful for that).”

Meet Soorin from the High School Recruitment and Mentorship Committee!

“I joined Girls Who Code this semester to share my passion for computer science, especially coding, with younger female students. Even though it hasn’t been too long since I joined the Managing Team, I have been personally inspired by others in the club who share the same passion as me. We work together to provide the best space for girls to learn and be inspired and also increase the number of women in computer science. I am so grateful to be a part of such an amazing organization with amazing women. Please consider donating to support our cause and enhance our students’ experience.”

Meet Christine, Secretary

“I’ve been a part of GWC-CU since my freshman year and have seen firsthand how much this organization matters. Our computer science classes, bringing together girls from diverse backgrounds all over NYC, have incited love and passion for technology. They create a welcoming space for girls who may not have had the opportunity to learn about CS and meet a community of friends and mentors with similar interests. Please consider donating to our program to help continue making these classes financially possible for our students!
