A Reiki attunement is an initiation.
It is the moment in your Reiki training where you are intentionally connected to the practice and its lineage—and begin a deeper relationship with Reiki, with your own energy, and with yourself.
Within the Reiki tradition, an attunement is understood to raise or shift your energetic baseline, creating a new starting point from which you begin to experience yourself and your life.
And this is where I often tell my students:
It's like turning on a flashlight and suddenly having a 360° view of your inner world.
Not because everything was suddenly created by the attunement—but because you're becoming more aware of what was already there.
Over the 21 days that follow, you begin a period of deep healing, clearing, integration, and elevation of mind, body, and spirit.
You may notice old patterns becoming more visible.
Things that no longer feel aligned may begin to shift.
You may experience emotional releases, heightened awareness, vivid dreams, changes in perspective, greater clarity, or a stronger sense of what is—and isn't—true for you.
Sometimes the changes are subtle.
Sometimes they're profound.
And sometimes the most meaningful shift is simply realizing:
“I can't unsee what I can now see.”
This is why I don't teach the 21 days as something you simply get through.
It's a process of becoming.
A process of meeting yourself more honestly.
Of listening more deeply.
Of clearing what you're ready to release.
Of reconnecting with what is true.
And of beginning to live from a different internal baseline.
The attunement itself is the initiation.
The 21 days are the integration.
And your practice is what allows the transformation to become embodied.
The attunement turns on the flashlight.
The 21 days invite you to look.
And what you choose to do with what you see is where the real transformation begins.
