8th grade Great Adventure trip! 🩵

Ecology Day Competition. For the competition, the students have been working during their lunch periods to create a solution for coastal flooding. Using the engineering design process, they conducted research, created a prototype, and presented their project to a panel of judges at the competition.

The students’ names were Alisa Deng (714), Tessa Issman (714), Nikolas Papahatzis (707), Peixuan Feng (707), Lucas Belfiore (718). Both Jillian Fileccia and I went on the trip.

The debate team celebrated their season and the senior tonight. We are so proud of all of you. To our seniors, we look forward to having you back next year to judge. We cannot wait to see the amazing things you do!!

Congratulations to our Boys Flag Football Team on winning the Staten Island Middle School Flag Football Championship!

This remarkable accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, resilience, and teamwork demonstrated by our student-athletes throughout the entire season. From preseason practices to the championship game, they competed with heart, determination, and Panther pride.

A special congratulations and thank you to Coach John Damico for his outstanding leadership, commitment, and passion for our students. Your dedication helped guide this team to an unforgettable championship season.

Come out this Friday, 6/12 for the 3rd Annual Student-Faculty Hockey Game 🏒 . 5:30 @ the Pavillon. $5 tix at the door. Parent supervision is strongly encouraged.

6th grade science students Emma Uske, Penelope Martinez, Ilyana Min, Kevin Xu, Matthew Khalil, and Oliver Zhao represented I.S.75 at the District 31 Science Expo hosted at Petrides! These students got to show their research project which connects rising temperatures to an increase in intense storms in New York City.

This week, we proudly celebrate Parent Coordinators Week and recognize the incredible dedication of our Parent Coordinator, Linda Taccetta! Linda is truly the bridge between our school and our families. Whether she is organizing ticket sales for school events, coordinating food and clothing drives for those in need, assisting parents with questions and concerns, or helping families navigate school life, she does it all with compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to our community.

Her tireless efforts help create a welcoming and supportive environment where students and families can thrive. Behind so many successful events, initiatives, and family connections is Linda’s hard work and dedication.
