Are you a parent of a 3–12 year old in NYC looking for a STEM after-school math program?
Watch closely — she's not using a calculator, an abacus, or paper. She's visualizing the abacus in her head, moving the beads mentally as 60 numbers fly by, and landing the final answer in about 10 seconds.
This is Abacus Math — kids learn to calculate real numbers in their head through a simple, hands-on method: moving beads on a real abacus first, then learning to "see" it mentally. It's playful, not intense — just 1–2 classes a week, 90 or 120 minutes each, so kids build real skill without ever feeling overwhelmed.
New groups are starting this September and October at our Manhattan center — spots are limited as school schedules fill up.
