Poly Robotics lands the podium at RUN FOR THE ROBOTS đ„
After advancing throughout the year, PolyMorphism finally competed this weekend in Lexington, KY against dozens of the top Robotics teams from across the country and around the world. They're now on their way back to NYC with a 3rd place trophy! đ„ In true Poly fashion, they also took home the Team Spirit Award đ for bringing the LOUDEST, most passionate energy in the building. If there's one thing Poly knows how to do, it's show up.
Congrats to the entire Robotics team and captains Alex Basham '26 and Nyla Harriott '26, and shout out to Director of Robotics Kristin Guynn and assistant coaches Dan Costello and Vinson Huang. This was the cherry on top of a stellar, multi award-winning year for Poly Robotics.

What an inspiring Grade 5 Civilization Creation Fair in the Joseph Dana Allen Library!
Grade 5 students showcased imaginative civilizations developed over weeks of collaboration, drawing on their study of ancient societies. From Neolithic villages to Bronze and Iron Ageâinspired worlds, they designed rich, interconnected systems spanning GRAPE categories: geography, religion, arts and technology, politics, and economy.
Families and teachers moved from table to table, engaging with student experts who explained the unique elements of their civilizations and answered thoughtful questions along the way. A special thank you to all of our visitors for joining us and helping make the event so meaningful.

Yesterday, UNIDAD (an affinity group for Latino/a-identified students) leaders, joined faculty and classmates for a wonderful visit to see El Ăltimo Sueño de Frida y Diego at The Metropolitan Opera. Inspired by the lives and artwork of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, the opera imagines Frida returning from the underworld for one final day with Diego, exploring love, memory, grief, and the enduring power of art and identity through vibrant music and storytelling.

First graders and ninth graders gathered together on the quad to share original poetry, open beautifully decorated envelopes filled with their work, enjoy lunch side by side, and play together under the sun before Lower School students headed back to the Prospect Park campus.
The visit celebrated student voice, mentorship, and the meaningful bonds that connect students across every division. đ
