anning and program management services. Through its fund development services, CCI works with private, non-profit, higher education and government agencies to secure funding that support their adaptation of its programs. Objective of position:
To support New York City Department of Education and Yonkers Public Schools teachers:

1. in the design and implementation of the Community Change/CareerVisions lessons.
2. in incorporating best pedagogical practices into their work as teachers. Tasks:

• Collaborative development of lesson plans based on the Community Change/CareerVisions Models – this involves developing a mastery of the Community Change/CareerVisions Models in order to guide teachers in the design and implementation of lessons that incorporate each approach; this also involves drafting lessons and sharing literary resources to support the teachers’ implementation of the lessons. Lessons should be aligned with the Common Core Standards, and apply the CareerVisions/Community Change Models to the assigned teachers’ content area.

• Site observations – this involves visiting assigned teacher clubs and observing their implementation of Community Change/CareerVisions lessons. These observations should inform adjustments/improvements to lesson plans during collaborative lesson planning sessions. This may also involve modeling pieces of lessons for the teachers during their clubs.

• General meetings – this involves scheduled meetings with the client to discuss program plans. Schedule
Varies during the school day and afterschool; possible Saturdays. Consultant will be responsible for coordinating schedule with assigned teachers, and ensuring the timely completion of the project. Payments
Consultant will be paid a flat rate of $75 for researching and compiling references and exercises for each lesson; $75 for each lesson plan collaboratively developed with teachers in meetings (with a completed lesson plan as the deliverable for each session); and $75 for site observations (with an activity summary as the deliverable for each session) and $75 for general meetings with client. Payments will be issued on a net 30 basis upon receipt of invoice package (inclusive of invoice, lessons, sign-in sheets and observation reports to support charges) from consultant. Qualifications
• Retired NYCDOE or YPS teacher or administrator.
• Substantial experience as a middle or high school educator.
• Mastery of STEM, Social Studies and/or ELA content.
• Well-versed in the Common Core Standards.
• Experience as a teacher mentor.
• Very well organized.
• Masterful with designing fun, dynamic, and engaging lessons.
• Great researching skills.
• Must be able to pass clearances.
• Great salesperson.
• Willingness to learn
