Our Art Extended Day class culminated with each student taking home their individual art portfolio filled with the work they created throughout the school year. We studied many mediums, art forms and artists spanning a variety of time periods. Each week was filled with joy and a sincere appreciation for art and artists alike! 🐿️🎨🖌️

This morning, had their Spring Bake Sale to benefit Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, an organization dedicated to funding pediatric cancer research.

Thank you to all the teachers and parents who contributed their delicious baked goods to this worthy cause!

Superheroes, princesses, and fruits were among the participants in the Acorn School’s Annual Halloween Parade! Happy Halloween! 🎃👻🐿️

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and baked for the bake sale yesterday - especially to our teachers who baked such delicious treats with the children. Our amazing Acorn Community raised $2,140 for American Friends of Magen David Adom! Michael Bloomberg matched our donation, bringing the total donated on behalf of The Acorn School to $4,280.

We are so proud of our community and grateful to everyone for continuing to selflessly assist in these outreach efforts!
