"On this Memorial Day, we remember those who valiantly died in service to our great nation. ... As the present sons, parents, and friends of Xavier High School, it is our duty to carry on the memory of those whose valor extended beyond the mission. Those who were killed in service to our country died so that we may live. We remember our nation’s fallen, particularly those Sons of Xavier, today on Memorial Day, and every day. Lest we forget."
