Considered one of the originators of the Hip-Hop genre in the 1970s, Grandmaster Flash was the first DJ to play turntables as a musical instrument. He was also recognized as an : Pioneer of Hip-Hop in 2022.

40 years ago today, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five released their classic single "The Message" on July 1, 1982. The song is considered an all-time Hip Hop classic and was the first rap song ever added to the National Recording Registry by The Library of Congress.

DJ II is my latest DJ interpretation. With Shiva-esque multiple arms he is the future of the Dub step, Hip Hop and the EDM worlds.
