Vivian Chavez earned an A.S. in Science at BMCC, and took part in environmental research through the Hudson River Park Trust and the Biofilm Research Center at SUNY Binghamton. She's been accepted at several CUNY bachelor's degree program, and is waiting to hear from others. Meanwhile, she is a recipient of the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship!

We were proud to host NYC Comptroller Brad Lander on campus yesterday where he got to meet students and faculty and learn about the innovative work BMCC is doing to ensure student success and prepare them to enter the New York City workforce. He even took a spin on our paramedic programs ambulance simulator!
