Did you know that tarot readers are not selfish with their cards, they don't want you to touch them because only the energy of the reader should be on them!

Of course cutting cards and shuffling is okay. There's a difference between casual touch in a reading and extended time in another person's hands.

Yes, it's also a good idea to keep them near you and even under your pillow! The cards need to connect and be aligned with the person using them and only them. The more touch time you spend with your cards, the more accurate their energy becomes!

So next time a reader says, ooh please don't handle my cards, this is why! Don't take it personally, it's a tarot thing 💜

Remember, the symbolism for the reader may not be the same as for the client.

Deliver the information as you receive it, no matter how confusing. Interpretation is fine to an extent, but don't place your personal meanings onto information that is unique to the other person. Let them describe it to you and interpret its relevance for themselves 💜

In the past I posted a very interesting discussion topic regarding how to structure or frame our questions when we consult the Tarot. It seems, however, that most people's first inclination is to ask a question in a way that sort of "backs the cards into a corner," so to speak.

In other words, trying to have the cards tell you whether or not you should "quit your job" or whether or not to "divorce your husband" is the incorrect approach and one shouldn't fall into that temptation, no matter how badly we want that final "end-all, be-all" answer.

At times we all want to race to the finish line, myself included, but sometimes there are things we must learn or know first before we get there. Asking the cards for a flat yes or no is really not beneficial, and doesn't work anyway in the long or short run.

So if you are interested in trying out a reading, I would like to throw out a tiny lifeline of support. I would like you all to feel free at any time to inbox me, with regard to structuring your questions. I realize it may be tricky at first, but I am here to help and would gladly work with you to frame your query in the best possible way so that the cards can offer you the best possible guidance.
