Let’s go! Who is joining us? We launch the series on Tuesday 9/30! Open to NYC Public School Teachers (focus on middle grades and high school). This is our second time facilitating this series. We are supporting collaborations across Spanish Language Arts and English Language Arts planning, focusing on integrating contemporary Latine youth literature. We’ll have author visits and book giveaways. Best part is to be in community designing culturally and linguistically sustaining curriculum.
Please share with the NYCPS teachers in your networks.
They can register by emailing [email protected] or through Teach Hub and then link on flyer.

Today, we honor the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and everyone fighting for human rights across the world. The work means we may not be in the “popular” position. After all, at one point in Dr. King’s life, he was considered the most hated man in America.

We keep fighting for educational equity and justice no matter how controversial or challenging. Let’s keep moving!
