One of the biggest things I’d recommend for Step 1 or Step 2 dedicated? Don’t wait until dedicated starts to figure everything out. 👀

Getting some practice questions and tests in beforehand can give you a much better idea of where you stand and how to plan your time once dedicated actually begins.

A little prep before dedicated can make a big difference later.

Your M1 study routine probably won’t work for Step 1 Dedicated. Your preclinical routine definitely won’t work the same way during clinical rotations. And by M4, your focus shifts toward ERAS, residency applications and interviews.
