Today we honor Juneteenthβa day of freedom, remembrance, and hope. β€οΈπ€π
Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the day Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that enslaved African Americans were freeβmore than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.
we also reflect on the courage, resilience, and countless contributions of Black Americans throughout history. May we continue to learn from the past, stand for justice, and work toward a future rooted in equality and love.
βFor you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love become servants to one another.β β Galatians 5:13

ππ Last Friday, we celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 and welcomed them as the newest members of the SFACA alumni family.
It was a beautiful and moving Mass and ceremony as we reflected on the memories, friendships, and faith that have shaped these students throughout their time at SFACA. While it is bittersweet to see them leave, we are excited to watch them begin the next chapter of their journey in high school.
A heartfelt thank you to Father Patrick Keating and Father Tom Vassalotti for their inspiring words, prayers, and blessings.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that you become.πβ¨

ππ Big congratulations to our outstanding 5th graders, James-Anthony J. and Ayden R., on their acceptance into the prestigious Regis High School REACH Program!
The REACH Program is a highly selective academic enrichment and leadership program that prepares talented young men for success in rigorous high school and college preparatory environments through summer study, mentorship, and year-round support.
This summer, James-Anthony and Ayden will begin their REACH journey at Fordham University, where they will challenge themselves academically, build lasting friendships, and continue growing into the leaders we know they can be.
We are incredibly proud of these young men and cannot wait to see all they accomplish. Join us in wishing them the very best as they embark on this exciting new chapter! πππ
