Today, we remember September 11, 2001, and the lives that were taken far too soon.

We remember the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends, and loved ones who never made it home. We remember the brave first responders who ran toward danger to save others, and the countless people who showed extraordinary courage, compassion, and strength in the face of unimaginable loss.

Twenty-five years later, the pain of that day is still felt by so many. We honor every life lost, every family changed forever, and every hero who gave everything for another person.

May we always remember. May we always honor. And may we never forget. 🕊️

We’re Back!! 🎃👻 Join us this Fall for our October Bash! Breaking Ground Dance Center !❤️We are super excited to be back!
Come join the truly amazing Miss Maggie & Friends, as she brings her heart and inspiration to the dance floor! It’s going to be a fun event for Movers of all ages! This event is accessible and open to dancers of all abilities! Come build community and inclusion in the Arts! We are a 5O1(c)(3) organization, now celebrating our 8th year! We continue to strive to bring awareness, accessibility, inclusion and community to the dance and arts world! Our work is never done, always evolving, always inspiring, always so rewarding. The love of dance brings people together as one! Join us if you can!

HuffPost has launched “Voices of Disabled People,” a new section under HuffPost Voices dedicated entirely to stories by and about people living with disability.

The initiative focuses on the reality that 1 in 4 adults in the United States live with a disability, making disabled people one of the country’s largest minority groups, yet their perspectives have historically been sidelined in mainstream media coverage.

The section builds on the relaunch of HuffPost Voices in 2022 under director Raj Punjabi-Johnson and aims to centre first person storytelling and nuanced reporting that reflects the wide range of disability experiences.

Punjabi-Johnson says the goal is simple: Disability is not a single story but a spectrum of lived experiences, and this space allows disabled people to share their narratives on their own terms without being reduced to stereotypes of limitation or struggle.

By creating a dedicated editorial platform, HuffPost is pushing disability stories into the center of the national conversation instead of treating them as an afterthought✨
