The Career Design Lab brought students to Edelman for a firsthand look at strategic communication in action.

As a guest speaker at Columbia University’s 2026 Winter Symposium, I took part in a student-driven “Call to Action” session focused on translating strategic communication theory into real-world impact. I developed and delivered a narrative-driven presentation that connected audience insight, purpose-led storytelling, and actionable engagement strategies, drawing from my experience in nonprofit leadership and brand building. Through this session, I facilitated discussion on how communicators can move audiences from awareness to action, emphasizing clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes. I also collaborated with faculty and student leaders to ensure the session aligned with symposium objectives, contributing to a cohesive, high-impact program that highlighted the role of strategic communication in leadership, social impact, and career development.
