We had a wonderful time performing at the Honolulu Museum of Art on December 17 as part of Pasko (Christmas) celebration and parol (star) making day. 🕺🏽🎄💃🏽
While we love dancing, playing kulintang, and public speaking, engaging with children and their parents holding and striking gangsa (handheld flat gongs) and dancing was especially special for us!❤️
🌺Big thanks to Amy Endres, Zachary Hetzler, Dani, Sarah Elizabeth, Pilar and the entire staff of the museum for being super helpful and welcoming, along with members of the Filipino American University Women, and Marilyn at the Statewide Cultural Extension Program🌺
🎄Maligayang Pasko, Mele Kalikimaka, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanza, Happy Holidays! And may aspirations for peace and light in the world never wane.🪷
