Star America will be Fully-Remote until further notice due to immediate change to an orange zone. We apologize for the late notice. We were only informed 1 hour before school dismissal.

Your child's teacher will remain in contact with you. For current fully-remote students, nothing will change.
For Blended students, you will not come to school but instead log-in everyday for Remote Learning.
Our In-Person classes will also be fully-remote. Your child's teacher will reach out to you to assist you with setting up a Zoom account.

Vision Screening

On Tuesday, October 30th, your child will have a free vision-screening in school administered by the New York City Department of Education.

Please make your best effort to have your child come to school that day.

Unit 8: Plants

From Seed to Fruit | Interactive | Everyday Learning From Seed to Fruit takes children through the different stages of growth in the life of a cherry tomato plant. Planting a seed in a cup and watching it grow over time is a wonderful way to introduce the life cycle to young children.
