Our next Hasbara Fellow takeover was run by Amit Rimon, one of our fellows from Queens University in Canada! 🇨🇦 🇮🇱

Amit provided live updates from another impactful day on our May delegation. The fellows first got to hear from Shadi, an Israeli-Arab Christian who had an a lot of historical knowledge to share.

Then in Kfar K**a, the fellows learned about Israel's Circassian community, one of the many minorities that have found a safe haven living in Israel.✨

Afterwards, Elkana Bar Eitan, a campaign director for Naftali Bennett's new Beyachad party discussed Israel's complex intricacies in politics with the fellows. The group ended their long but fulfilling day in Jerusalem, ending off on another high note. More to come!💙‼️

Earlier this week, our Hasbara Fellows took over our Instagram for a virtual "Day In the Life" by posting live updates during our May delegation to Israel.🇮🇱✨

Enjoy the recap of the jampacked day they experienced! Starting off with breakfast🥞 in Tiveria, hearing from the incredible Elliot Chodoff, to experiencing views of the Golan Heights⛰️...they really did it all! 💪

Our fellows then got to enjoy having a delicious lunch😋, explored more beautiful viewpoints Israel has to offer🌅 🇮🇱 , and ended the day with an enjoyable and relaxing boat ride. 🚤✨

Hasbara Fellowships is proud to be partnered with Students Supporting Israel (SSI) —an incredible organization created by a Hasbara alum. Our missions to Israel help strengthen student leaders, who go back to campus, empowered by SSI to stand up and make actionable change!

We are thrilled to kick off our Hasbara Highlight series with the one and only Uriel Appel ! 🇮🇱✨

In his role as former President of SSI at University of Maryland, Uriel has been a powerhouse on campus, launching high-impact events and leading the frontline fight for Jewish advocacy. Behind every great leader is the training that makes them great. 💪🔥

Since joining Hasbara in August 2025, Uriel took the advanced leadership skills he acquired with us and used them to spearhead his impact within SSI on campus at UMD. 🚀

👉 Don’t just watch things happen on your campus— become a leader and make real change. We invite all SSI students ready to level up their Israel advocacy and leadership skills to apply for Hasbara Fellowships today!

Ancient Shiloh — where the Mishkan stood for centuries before Jerusalem became the spiritual center of Jewish life. ✨

This site is more than archaeology. It's proof. Over 3,000 years ago, the Jewish people gathered here to worship. Yet on campuses today, students are told that places like Shiloh are "occupied" and that Israelis are foreign colonialists.

That's exactly why we come here. Shiloh isn't occupied territory — it's the original Jewish homeland. And our Fellows are walking its ground, learning its history, and carrying that truth back to campus.

We're proud to be featured in both JNS and All Israel News, covering why this mission matters and what these students are experiencing firsthand.

25 student leaders from 18 universities came to Israel this week — and they're feeling the weight and purpose of it.

Zachary Seaver, a student at Ohio State University, shared what drives him: "Anti-Israel and antisemitic rhetoric has become an unfortunate reality on campus. I want to strengthen my ability to advocate constructively and confidently — and actually have those peaceful conversations with people."

That starts with knowing your history. As Amit Rimon, a student at Queen's University, reflected after visiting Kibbutz Kfar Aza: "It's when people forget or actively choose to ignore our history that misinformation and propaganda spreads. Know who you are and where you come from."

Our fellows landed in Israel this week and have been going nonstop — real conversations, powerful sessions, and on-the-ground experiences that they will take back to their campus.

From the moment we landed in Tel Aviv, our fellows jumped straight in. We heard from speakers about what this country has been living through, met the people carrying it, and started asking the hard questions.

Then we drove south. Nova festival grounds. A kibbutz in the Gaza envelope. The car graveyard at Tkuma. Sderot. these aren't just places on a map anymore, but lived stories we now carry with us.

By day three, we were sitting with IDF soldiers and officers, hearing firsthand what October 7th looked like from the inside, and what it means to keep choosing life when everything around you is asking you not to.

4 days in and we're just getting started.
