Congratulations to the CUNY Law School Moot Court team of Nadine and Marianna who competed yesterday in the regional rounds of the Seventy-Sixth Annual National Moot Court Competition. The team competed at the House of the New York City Bar Association, making great arguments, getting compliments from the judges, and winning their last round. Thanks to everyone who helped and participated in the Twenty-Seventh Annual CUNY Moot Court Summer Competition last Saturday! It was great to see everyone in person again.

Congratulations to the new CUNY Moot Court Officers Karimah (pres.), Angelica (VP), Fatima (Sec'y), Tarsila (Treas.), and Hirsha (Summer Comp. Chair). Thanks to everyone who participated in the election, including the other candidates.

Congratulations to the CUNY Moot Court team of Asia, Riley, and Yulia competing in the Regionals of the Nationals Moot Court Competition for presenting outstanding arguments (and advancing to the Quarter Finals). Special thanks to team manager Erica.

Looking forward to the Twenty-Sixth Annual CUNY Moot Court Summer Competition, which will be held online on Saturday, September 18, 2021!

Congratulations to all of our CUNY Moot Court Team competitors this year. Although competitions were cancelled due to the coronavirus, all of our competitors continued their preparations, practices, and Send Offs on their way to becoming stellar attorneys. Great work Nicholas, Thanh, Erica, Cristina, Maria, Tom, Larry, Edan, Gabe, Jonathan, Christina, and Evgenia!

Also, a big shoutout to our team managers who helped arrange everything under fast-changing circumstances: Kevin, Emily, Michael, Dan, and Ryan! Finally, thanks to all of our team members and faculty who helped the teams throughout the process. We hope everyone is doing well and will keep you posted as CUNY Moot Court keeps moving forward. Congratulations to the new members of CUNY Moot Court!

Spread the word: Students wishing to participate in the Annual CUNY Moot Court Summer Competition must turn in their applications to Jonathan Saxton by Tuesday, April 30 at 5:00 p.m.!

Here's some great shots of CUNY's John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court team of Jason, Julian, and Ryan (along with faculty coaches Profs. Beena Ahmad and Fareed Hayat). The photos were taken by the team's manager, Andy Laine while the team was competing at Seton Hall Law School.

Dan, Andrew, and Mudassar did a great job representing CUNY at the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition this year (with help from their manager Sivan)!

Good luck to the CUNY Teams competing this week in the Prince Evidence Competition (Garth, Dan G., and Reena) and in the Gobbons Criminal Procedure Competition (Jason, Julian, and Ryan).

Also congratulations to our teams that did a great job in the Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Competition (Andrew, Daniel R., and Mudassar) last week.

And, finally, congratulations to our two teams that competed in and performed well this week in the Stack (Nassau) Competition (See photos of the team of Christina and Eva and the team of Rachel, Jonathan, and Zachory). The team of Rachel, Jonathan, and Zachory qualified to advance to the semi-final round of the competition.
