Calling all Black Girls! The Black Girl Collective is coming back this 2019-2020 academic year! We have plans to be BIGGER and BETTER! The advising committee has taken a lot of time to reshape and redesign how we will operate as a collective! We want to tell you all about it, at our 2nd Annual Black Girl Brunch, that will be held on Saturday, September 7th at 12 noon. This Brunch will include food, fellowship, an unveiling of the collective plans for the semester as well as outline NEW ways you ALL can be part of the collective. It's no longer just a collective for you, but one that will be run BY YOU!

September 11 (9/11), 16 years later, we will take a look back at the events of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and discuss how this impacted the world and how it still impacts us today. We will then take a trip to the 9/11 memorial and have an opportunity to respond to the discussion and memorial through photography and still imagery.
