Thursday, April 20th 5-9pm! The CCNY Art Department cordially invites you to join us for a gathering and tribute exhibition honoring our dear friend, artist, colleague, and professor Colin Chase.
Continuation-A Tribute to Colin Chase will present new works by some of Professor Colin Chase's former graduate students, whom we have asked to make a small work with Colin in mind. You will also be able to see images of works by some of Colin's undergraduate students and learn more about The Colin Chase Sculpture Fund. The exhibition will be on view in the Compton-Goethals Gallery from April 14th to May 4th, 2023, with an opening reception and tribute on Thursday, April 20th, 5-9pm, during which it will be possible for all in attendance to make remarks.
Those who prefer to share thoughts in writing are invited to send an email to [email protected].
We welcome all who knew Colin to join us in this gathering.
On behalf of the Art Department,
Tom Thayer, Chair
