PS 401: The Christopher Avenue Community School

During Mental Awareness Month this May, PS 401 created a space for our scholars to express themselves, connect, and reflect in a meaningful way. 🧸💚

A special session was hosted where students created and named their own teddy bears, encouraging creativity, comfort, and conversations around emotions, identity, and mental wellness. Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience impactful for our students.

We recently brought the energy all the way up for our 3–5 scholars as they prepare for the ELA State Test! 📚🔥

Our pep rally was all about confidence, motivation, and reminding our students that they are more than ready to show what they know. From chants to encouragement, the entire building showed up to support our scholars as they step into testing with focus and pride.
