Sake Discoveries — Logo Update

We’ve had the pleasure of designing various sake bottle labels together. So it was a special opportunity to refine their own mark.

The structure of the logo is inspired by the contracted form of the Japanese character for “sake,”
combined with the silhouette of a shield, a symbol of trust, protection, and guidance.

Simple in appearance, intentional in construction.
A mark that reflects their role in elevating sake brands across the U.S.

Silkroad ensemble is a musical collective initiated by Yo-Yo Ma.
A Musical Journey Of Reclamation, American Railroad, a project of Silkroad seeks to right the passed wrongs by highlighting untold stories and amplifying unheard voices from these communities, painting a more accurate picture of the global disaporic origin of the American Empire.
I’m honored to be part of this project!

What I can do for our planet might be small. Small yet every little thing counts and that is the only way to appreciate and contribute back to our home we all live in, EARTH 🌍. Anne Stott’s Water To Blood is the climate change anthem!
