Our first summer we met a wonderful Filmmaker named Jennifer Callahan. She had already made a wonderful documentary called
"The Bungalows of Rockaway" but after Hurricane Sandy, she returned to Rockaway to make a second documentary about Rockaway after the super storm, called "Rockaway Before and After."
We attended the screening last year at BAM and have to say, both documentaries are not only beautiful, but extremely informative and eye opening.
To support Jennifer and learn a lot more about the history of the Rockaway Peninsula, you can now purchase the documentaries on Amazon today!
And, consider donating to our fundraiser so we can continue to meet and work with amazing people who care about Rockaway
