Sing • Move • Play • Explore Music Together!

Looking for a fun, interactive way to bond with your little one while helping them grow? Join us at the Greek School of Plato for a joyful introduction to music through singing, rhythm, movement, and play!

Designed for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers, our classes foster musical development, coordination, listening skills, and creativity in a warm, welcoming environment.

✨ CHOOSE YOUR CLASS:

👶 LITTLE NOTES (Ages 6–12 months)
📅 Mondays | 10:00–10:45 AM

A gentle introduction to music featuring songs, sensory activities, movement, simple instruments, and special parent-child bonding time.

🎵 MINI MUSICIANS (Ages 12–24 months)
📅 Wednesdays | 10:00–10:45 AM

An energetic, interactive class filled with singing, rhythm games, instrument play, movement, and early music concepts!

💡 WHAT TO EXPECT:

Singing & age-appropriate songs
Percussion instruments & rhythm fun
Clapping, listening & coordination games
Parent & child bonding through interactive play

With great splendor, emotion, and deep reverence, today marked the conclusion of the traditional blessing of the waters (Agiasmos) for the new school year at The Greek School of Plato in Brooklyn, New York (670 92nd Street).

The service was officiated by the Very Reverend Archimandrite Fr. Michael Giavris, who blessed the students, teachers, administration, school board, parents, and guardians, wishing everyone a creative, enlightened, and blessed school year filled with progress and health for all the children.

The ceremony was a special moment for the local Greek diaspora, marking the official start of classes and bringing together students, parents, and teachers in a warm and festive atmosphere.

A happy and blessed school year to all!

Με ιδιαίτερη λαμπρότητα, συγκίνηση και βαθιά ευλάβεια ολοκληρώθηκε σήμερα, ο καθιερωμένος αγιασμός για τη νέα σχολική χρονιά στο Ελληνικό Σχολείο «Πλάτων» στο Μπρούκλιν της Νέας Υόρκης (670 92nd Street).

Τον αγιασμό τέλεσε ο Πανοσιολογιώτατος Αρχιμανδρίτης π. Μιχαήλ Γιαβρής, ευλογώντας τους μαθητές, τους εκπαιδευτικούς, τη διεύθυνση και το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του σχολείου, τους γονείς & κηδεμόνες και ευχόμενος μια δημιουργική, φωτισμένη και ευλογημένη σχολική χρονιά με πρόοδο και υγεία για όλα τα παιδιά.

Η τελετή αποτέλεσε μια ξεχωριστή στιγμή για την ελληνική ομογένεια της περιοχής, σηματοδοτώντας την επίσημη έναρξη των μαθημάτων και φέρνοντας κοντά μαθητές, γονείς και δασκάλους σε ένα ζεστό και εορταστικό κλίμα.

Dear Plato Families,
We are so excited to share a new program now available within our Plato community — Plato Preschool Daycare!

Our daycare is a separate program from our Greek School, designed to give toddlers and preschoolers a fun, nurturing introduction to a classroom and school environment. The program runs Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM right here in our Plato building.

We know many of our Plato families have younger children, relatives, friends, and neighbors who may be looking for a preschool/daycare program, so we would greatly appreciate you helping us spread the word!
