Tutu School is a boutique ballet school that caters specifically to children 6 mo to 8 yrs-old.
We believe that every child should know what it feels like to dance and that exposing them to the world of creativity, movement & classical music is magic!
Meet Odette🐰🩰- our ballet bunny and the star of Tutu School Chelsea. Each tiny tutu in her collection comes straight from the ballet stories we read in class - a little piece of every story, stitched right into her wardrobe. Can you match her tiny tutus with the tales that inspired them? *hint - they’re also on our walls ✨
We are still twirling with full hearts from our Spring 2026 Bravo Bash recital!! We had the absolute best time watching our dancers perform on stage and cannot WAIT for the next one!! Big cheers to all who took the brave step to perform with us 🥳🦄🩰✨ WE ARE SO BEYOND PROUD OF YOU!!
We are so excited to work with again this month i #- Friday 04/24, for another Parent’s Night Out Party that we wanted to share some of the magic we made at our last pajama jam! We sang, snacked and twirled the night away w HUNTR/X for the last round. Next up, flower crowns and more magic with Mirabel & Isabel from Encanto! We are so excited to announce our spring Bravo Bash recital theme, The Rainbows & Unicorns Ballet Ball 🌈🦄🩰✨ We had a blast at our 1st Bravo Bash a few months ago and can’t wait to see our dancers shine on stage again in May! Save the date 5/17 and join us on stage at the gorgeous Refectory building of the Vanderbilt University’s NY campus and former General Theological Seminary, right across the street from us at Tutu School Chelsea! We could not have asked for a better time than twirling away the day with the for a mobile adoption event! The weather was gorgeous, we got to meet so many amazing people - from the staff and volunteers, to our neighbors at The Highline Hotel - the whole Chelsea community and more! Tutu School Chelsea got its own special pup, Lady Ramos, who wore her special tutu like a star, let us love on her all day & gave her the safest most magical place to take a shelter break that we could think of. We had so much fun at our monthly ballet book club event! We made some amazing fingerprint art, showing off our unique styles, we let our imaginations run wild with props and games, we read our book of the month, Pearl And Her Big Ballet Debut, written by Tutu Teacher, & danced like Pearl in her new dance class! We loved seeing the spread of dancers who joined us and are always thrilled for the opportunity to serve our community and create space for all of dancers to mingle and meet outside of classes. We cannot think of a better way to celebrate the magic of March than giving a LUCKY pet a much needed home!!
