Trip complete. Hearts full. Serving alongside incredible medical professionals in Jamaica reminded Kate and Weedora to carry empathy into each day. We are so proud of everything our AMSU representatives have accomplished. Welcome home, ladies.

Kate and Weedora reflected, "AMSU taught us that Serviam is not just a motto, but a way of life."

During the week, the volunteers went to a local high school in Kingston, Jamaica and it was packed. They assisted with dental care including extractions, cleaning, and learning about various dental procedures. The number of people they were able to help in just one day was nothing short of remarkable!

Two AMSU students were selected by Dr. Brown and the Zion Care International to carry out the Serviam motto globally!

From registering patients, taking blood pressures, and offering reassurance to those who walked in nervous... but left grateful! Weedora '28 shared, "My role was registering people who came in looking for an extraction or a cleaning of their teeth and taking their blood pressure." Kate '27 also reflected that she can use her abilities to support communities and make a meaningful difference.

Today we celebrate one of the most beautiful mysteries of our faith, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, body and soul, into heavenly glory. AMSU is rooted in the Ursuline tradition and dedicated to our Blessed Mother; this feast day holds a very special place in our hearts. May Mary's faithfulness inspire us all.

Bilingual and brilliant. For the second year in a row, AMSU students earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy. 17 in Spanish and one in Twi (West African dialect), a historic first for our school. We couldn't be prouder of our 18 students!

What a night at Yankee Stadium. Students from the Junior Academy all the way to the Class of 2026 took the field and delivered a stunning performance of the National Anthem that gave us chills. A huge thank you to Mr. Hernandez for leading them every step of the way and to everyone who packed the AMSU section and cheered them on. This night was truly unforgettable!

Summer may be in full swing, but we're still soaking up these beautiful beach-inspired masterpieces! Every canvas tells a different story, showcasing creativity, growing technique, and the confidence to bring each student's artistic vision to life.

“I never thought I’d be able to be in a place like this, but AMSU was the quiet light that gave me the courage to step forward” - Natalia ‘29

Oxford taught her. London showed her. And AMSU prepared her for all of it. Natalia spent her summer studying international relations and cultural affairs and making the most of every moment across England. Great work, Natalia!

On this Feast of the Transfiguration, we are reminded of the divine glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, revealed to His disciples on the mountaintop. May we, like the disciples, be transformed by His light and carry that light into the world. Blessed Feast Day.
